Late last night, the PM dashed to Strasbourg to negotiate some fluff to the political declaration, and not the WA itself.

This is important, as all the legal stuff is in the WA, the rest is fluff.

The WA was not reopened. The backstop was not changed. Some fancy words were added which May tried to spin as a victory.

Today, the Westminster bubble waited to hear the view of the AG on whether this change had meant that the UK could walk out of close the backstop, unilaterally.

He said no.

An actual MP, from the Government actually telling the truth.

The ERG, the DUP and various ex-ministers took turns to kick May's updated WA to death.

All through the afternoon, May, Corbyn and then the usual suspects have been having their say, most saying the WA is still shit, and would not be voting for it.

This will continue until seven, wen the MV happens, and then no one knows.

Brexit was always going to be shit.

But May is a shit PM.

The shit PM appointed shit MPs to deliver shit Brexit.

The shit MPs who were appointed by the shit PM to deliver the shit idea of Brexit did a shit job.

Everyone and everything was so shit that it was impossible to tell if May was deliberately fucking things up or just shit.

The UK went back on what it had agreed with the EU. MPs briefed against each other, the Government and the PM, sometimes in newspapers articles or in TV interviews, such actions in normal times would have brought the sack. Some ministers were so shit, yes I'm talking about you Johnson, they could and should have been sacked on a weekly, possibly a daily basis.

Others who did a shit job, DD and Raab, just resigned and went back to sniping from the sidelines, criticising the very deal they had themselves negotiated.

Shit doesn't even begin to cover the clusterfuck.

The EU today ruled out an extension to A50 beyond 24th May 2019,unless the UK takes part in the EU elections, which should have come as no surprise to anyone who has been paying attention.

And an extension that short is not enough.

Clearly.

But that is unacceptable to the DUP and ERG. Clearly.
