The last chance saloon

As the UK nears Brexit day, realisation is dawning in the closed minds of the Brexiteers, that if they don't take the current WA, they might not get Brexit at all.

Some members of the ERG are saying they will back the PM, while the DUP still say it is unacceptable.

Some Conservative members are railing against what they see as treacherous MPs they voted for, putting the country's needs first and not their irrational desire for a hard quick Brexit.

This is not going to end well for anyone.

Other, ore pragmatic Brexiteers have actually come out and said it will be better for everyone if Brexit is just binned and forgotten as it has been so badly managed. By the PM.

Tomorrow is politics day in the papers and on TV, so we shall see where the pieces are being moved to.

But elsewhere, Naughty Nigel's March for Brexit, cos it a march taking place in March, began near Sunderland. On a wet and windy beach near Sunderland, a group of 200 people had paid £50 each to march to London, Nigel and Hoey turned up, were photographed and drove off in a bus. Not walking to London either.

It was so shit it was funny. Video of the marchers walking into Hartlepool was more like people walking to the local pub, rather than the 100,000 Nigel had promised.

And it seems Chris Grayling has messed up again, the emergency ferries he chartered had a fixed date of 29th March for the start of their operations. A delay will cost an extra £38 million. Imagine how many nurses, doctors and policemen you could pay for with that?
