An important change

Today, the Government conceded the inevitable, in that it conceded that the EU elections had to take place.

This will surprise no one who reads my words, but has been big news on the BBC and other news media.

The Government has run out of ideas and time, simple as that. And to comply with EU law, EU citizens, not UK ones, have to vote in EU elections. Though the Home Office is making that as difficult as possible, of course.

But now that further barrier has been broken, of participating in the EU elections coming after the actual Brexit day being moved. Twice. Anything is now possible.

The EU don't think the UK will be in a position to have Brexit on 31st October either, and plans are in place on what terms an extension, if any were to be agreed, could be imposed.

Of course, none of this is being mentioned on the BBC or in the papers.

But doesn't mean it isn't true.

Meanwhile, the Conservatives descend further into chaos, with the "dream team" of Johnson and Raab of PM and his deputy. A combination certain to spit the party in two, and will do anything other than unite Parliament. They hope to reopen the WA with the EU, which they won't be able to.

But all this is in the next few weeks. Use the time well, the EU said.
