Defeating Brexit

The most eye opening thing I read today was that Leave dd not win the EU Referendum, Remain lost it.

And remain will continue to lose unless it is honest with the country and electorate about the benefits of EU membership and the freedom of movement.

Bemoaning Nigel and Leave for whatever they say or do will not swing people. Being honest about how the UK changed from being the sick man of Europe to a powerhouse in exporting is something that can be laid at the door of the EU.

A return to being the Sick man is the clear result of Brexit, but that is not the message that is being said. Instead the various factions of remain fight each other in the way the Brexiteers fight each other for the on true Brexit.

As a country we are doomed like Prometheus, to relive Brexit every day, while Nigel and JRM peck at our livers.

Because we deserve it.
