Coalition against the people

I really worry for my country.

The Sunday Torygraph today lead with the above headline, quoting "man of the people" Nigel who continues is war against reality and facts.

Other papers lead with the possibility that May and Corbyn are edging closer to an agreement on Brexit and the MV4, but then, there are no indication that either leader could command enough of their own MPs got get such a deal voted for, then the Withdrawal Agreement Act passed.

Thing is, such a deal would sideline the Eurosceptic wing and the ERGs of the Tory Party, and that would probably break the party in two. That that is likely to happen anyway, but still.

Other papers care calling the proposed agreement a "stitch up", not really using words that are going to unite the country.

I mean, at some point this will all be over, and I can't see the words that are being used by Brexiteers and the ERG against those who disagree with them, ever be forgotten.

A broken Brexit for a broken Britain!

I'm not sure another week of this floundering will bring any clarity. But you never know.

I suppose what is really frustrating, is that now, as always, facts and expert opnion would destry Brexit and the Brexiteers, any half decent journalist, working for a paper or TV station that allowed them to do so, would be able to rip Farrage and co apart, instead they are given a platform rather than a real grilling on facts and what they would really do. And in Farrage's case, why, when the referendum was won, did you run away?

Another reminder that there is just three choices open to the UK: the WA, no deal or no Brexit.

Even if the WA is voted for, the UK then still has to decide what Brexit means, negotiate a trade deal with the EU, by the end of June next year.
