The beginning of the end of May

The PM is to present the Withdrawal Agreement Bill and expects it to receive royal ascent before the summer recess.

In other news, she said she had also found the famous money tree, so no worries there either.

The Bill does not have a cat's in hell chance of passing through Parliament, as it puts into UK law the (agreed) WA including the backstop.

If this fails to pass, then May will have to resign, as there would be nowhere else to go.

Had she not done this, then the 1922 committee would have changed their rules and forced a new vote of no confidence.

Labour almost certainly won't vote for it, the Brexiteers won't, neither will the DUP.

Who knows that then for the UK and Conservative Party?
