Last night, there was a by election, in Brecon and Radnorshire, the Conservatives went from an 8000 majority to losing it by 1500 to the LibDems.
A huge result, brought about as the remain-leaning parties agreed to stand aside to let the winners a free run.
This is good.
It now has to be rolled out nationwide in case there is an election, which could come quickly.
On one day, 52% of those eligible to vote, said they wanted the UK to leave the EU.
48% said they wanted the UK to remain.
There has been an election, at which May asked the electorate to back her vision for Brexit. She lost her overall majority.
She then tried to get her negotiated WA ratified by Parliament; she failed three times, twice by historical margins.
In both the local and EU elections this year, both the Conservatives and Labour lost more votes to the clear remain parties than they did to Farrage's "party".
All of this suggests there should be a serious compromise, to bring the two sides together.
But both May and Johnson carried on, and will carry on as if they won all of the above with landslides votes.
There will be Brexit blog tomorrow, and I imagine life will be better without thinking of the bloody thing.
Still, I guess it'll still be here on Sunday.
Finally, I'll leave you with this thought. Yesterday, the Chancellor, Javit, announced £2.5 billion extra for no deal planning.
This are costs that we were told would not happen, as we would be getting a better deal than we had before. There would be extra money each week, for the NHS for example.
This is money that was no available for the previous nine years, though austerity. There was no magic money tree nurses, doctors, the sick, disabled, single mums and on and on were told.
But there's always money for some Brexit related problem.
Austerity wasn't a necessity, it was a choice. It was a choice to punish the sick, poor and disabled and reward those who had caused the economy to crash.
The same seeds that helped deliver Brexit.
