Once more, for Labour

I am a meer private citizen. I write about Brexit so I can understand the issues, and hopefully you can understand them too.

In today's Daily Mirror, it suggests that should a GNU fail with Corbyn as a temporary PM, then a Labour Government could retrospectively reverse Brexit to make us members again.

Regular readers will know the fault it this "story", but it is out there, published this very morning.

The Article 50 process is one which, at the end of the sto year period (or after an mutually-agreed extension) the articles of the European Union will no longer apply to the departing member state.

A50 also goes on to say, should the departed former member state wish to rejoin, it would have to use the Article 49 process.

Westminster can pass whatever legislation it wants, will make no difference under international law.

Once the UK leaves the EU, it is out.

For a long time.

Probably decades.

Brexit is pretty much forever, as are its associated problems and issues.
