Catching up

This morning, details of text messages between Johnson and James Dyson reveal how last year, the PM coaxed Dyson back to the UK with promises of tax breaks so he could share with an ardent Brexiteer the task of building UK designed ventalators, despite Dyson, not JCB, having built them before.

Johnson might be able to hide this latest scandal or Chumocracy, but it shows the lengths he went to to make it seem Brexit worked, and that Brexiteers could share in the limelight.

Other companies on the Zoom calls describe how Johnson focussed on Dyson.

Yesyerday, after a painful press coference in which Johnson was asked about his actions and affair with Ms Accuri and whether that meant he had broken the Ministerial Code, Johnson replied he had acted properly. When he rogered Ms Accuri in the family kitchen, I suppose.

And the upshot of that is that the £2.6 million briefing room is to no longer be used for its purpose as the "US" style media briefings are to be dropped and his press secretary given a new job.

Seems there are just so many lies to defend, that cannot be outsourced, and all Johnson has is bluster, so lets just srap the idea, I mean its only taxplayers money. Which I am sure those nice chaps at the Taxpayer Alliance will raise very soon.

Very soon indeed.

And finally, it is "interesting" that Johnson weighed into the row about the ESL within a day, and yet took 8 days to comment about riots in NI caused, in part, by Brexit, and missed 5 COBTA meetings at the start of the pandemic.
