NIPping it in the bud

From “There won’t be any barriers” to “There aren’t any barriers” to “These barriers are ludicrous” without any acknowledgment at all that he is entirely & personally responsible for all the barriers. This level of dishonesty is pathological not political. So says Jame O'Brien on LBC.

Quite.

Or as Sam McBride says in the Guardian:

"Boris Johnson has denounced as "ludicrous" the checks he said would not happen at the Irish Sea Border which he said would not exist."

Quite. Again.

That the media, the BBC and other papers can allow Johnson the kind of revision of history, of the very recent past, in that the oven ready Brexit deal he negotiated, placed before the country, then Parliament, sign and got ratified could be in no way his faul, and instead it was those vindictive EUers.

Blaming the EU for UK Government policy failures should be a thing that Brexit stopped, but instead is now being used to hide the biggest plicy failure of them all: Brexit.
