Even better than last time

Two years ago, I said that we should savour the way in which Norwich won the Championships, losing just six games all season.

They have done it again, only time time scoring fewer goals, but also conceding many less too.

Although we are not champions yet, we are promoted, that was confirmed when both Swansea and Brentford failed to win yesterday.

That we went on to lose just our sixth game of the season that evening hardly dented the celebrations, but we would rather have won it on the pitch rather than sitting in front of the TV yesterday, or as Emi was, sound asleep.

But the deed is done, we are up, and the naysayers are nay saying we will be relegated in a year.

Maybe so. But we will not be bankrupted in doing so, and we will have firm foundations for the following seasons.

One time, we might just get it right, and just not leave the Prem, if there is one going forward.

Norwich's model is sustainable, taking the longer view and seeing bumps in the rad as just that.

Maybe it'll catch on, but I doubt it.

OTBC.
