India was today being added to the "red list" of countries people cannot arrive in the UK from.
Quite why it has taken this long, when India is in the grip of a mutation that is raging out of control, and neighbouring Pakistahn isn't suffering like India is, and yet has been on the red list all along.
People have been able to arrive, complying with pre-flight and arrival tests, and allowed if they passed to enter.
A recent flight starting in India had 70 passengers infected, most only testing positive after 12 days.
UK quarantine is ten days.
Johnson is not now going to fly to India next week as part of a trade mission, its like the Government is doing all it can to look totally shot at everything it does, and having to perform u-turns on an almost daily basis, playing poker with the nation's health.
Meanwhile the hospitality industry wants the timetable to further unlocking not to be changed.
Darn those pesky facts.
