Chinese dentist

tonight (Tuesday) The Government lost the meaningful vote by a huge 230 votes. This is by some margin the biggest defeat a Government has ever been subject of. Coming so soon after being held in contempt of Parliament, this is without doubt the worse Government of all time, lead by the worst PM.

She has not resigned, it seems that due to the Fixed Term Parliament Act, she can’t, but the Labour leader has tabled a vote of no confidence in the Government which will be heard tomorrow.

All very well and dramatic, but at the end of the day, neither the PM, Cabinet, Government, the Opposition or Parliament has a plan B and one needs to be found in 3 days, at least by the PM.

But all the while, as a matter of UK and International Law, the Brexit date is unaffected, and it is reasonable to say that no alternative plan could get through Parliament, and neither could the required legislation needed to change Brexit date. However, in the former Great Repeal Bill, a minister can change the day, but that would not change there is no real way forward.

And for the EU, they negotiated with the UK in good faith, and now the WA lies in tatters, and without the WA there can be no TA and no trade deal, even talks about talks.
