Banned

As the front page of the Daily Hate Mail demands that Johnson removed the brakes from the economy, it is, perhaps, worth pointing out that travel from the uK to over 40 countries, including the US and Spain, is banned.

The rest of the world looks at the UK and how we have failed in COVID and says, we don't want that here.

Looking at the press or listening to the radio, you would think that the UK has been a success, although the last item on the news is the daily data, where seven hundred deaths a day is a positive story as it isn't the 1700 it was two or three weeks ago.

Johnson is planning on releasing the country from most restrictions from March 1st, or soon after it, having learned nothing from last spring/summer when they did the same.

THe focus have largly been on being able to go on holiday; if the Government fails on surpressing the visrus once again, hardly any country will allow UK visitors.

117,000 deaths, millions infected, and still no sign of track and trace working. Apparently 1,000 fresh infections a day across the UK is acceptable, three in a month in New Zealand wasn't.
