In the 24 hours up to 16:00 yesterday, 18th January 2022, some 438 people died within 28 days of a positive COVID test.

That is more than have died in the entire 22 months of the pandemic in New Zealand, I believe.

It is beyond shameful.

It is a national scandal, and one that the media has allowed to become normalised. Normal when hundreds of avoidable deaths happen every day, two thousand deaths a week. 22 months into a pandemic.

And in order to save the PM's career and job, any restrictions are expected to be released, or the policy announced today.

I really hope this is the last wave of COVID, but it seems that my Government is doing all it can to ensure as many people die as possible, and then not like to talk about that, but how good they were in obtaining vaccines a year ago, despite sonce then most of Europe overtaking the UK in pecentage of population vaccinated, not to mention the economic hurt done to the nation.
