Yesterday, Downing Street had to issue a formal apology to the Queen for the two parties that took place on the eve of the funeral of her busband, The Duke of Edinburgh. The party, parties, went on beyond midnight and someone was sent to the offy to fill up a suitcase with bottles of wine as they partied on.
This was 11 months after the party the PM apologies for on Wednesday.
So many parties were going on in Doning Street that a wine fridge was bought for supplies for the Friday night parties.
Whether or not Johnson attended, it was impossible he was not aware of some, most of the parties. And did nothing.
Clear, strong leadership would not have allowed this.
Johnson has no moral authority to govern now and must resign or replaced. The longer it goes on the worse it will become.
He is currently in hiding, because he was he is in isolation as a family member tested positive for COVID. Regulations requiring that were changed the day before, he could travel as long as a daily LFT showed no infection.
But he chose to hide.
