Monday 16th September 2019

And back to work, but the good news is there is less than four weeks until our next great adventure.

So, excitement is building.

But for now, Monday.

And as usual, for a Monday, after coffee, it is onto the cross trainer for another session. Going well and actually enjoying them, but early in the morning is tough. But leaving it to later would mean me rather doing housework or travel expenses instead.

Yes, it happened before.

Anyway, once that is done, i cool down watching the brids on the feeder from the patio before going for a shower and getting dressed for wor. Which, if truth be told, there is no need as no one can see me, and the cats don't complain. But it seems right, and to wear a work-branded t shirt, just because I'm working.

But it is a grey and cool day, will get gloomier as the day goes on, so, not much to photograph, just to admire the joy of wildlife in our garden.

I have fruit for breakfast.

Then toast,

And by eleven, have lunch too.

Its boredom. But once those eaten, there is just more fruit.

Honest.

Unless the ice cream van goes by, of course.

Into the afternoon and it begins to rain gently. A heavy drizzle. I watch as sheets of rain come in from the west, hanging in the autumnal air like mist.

Two hundred and fifty nine So, I stand in the back doorway, holding a fresh brew, just watching as the garden gets some much needed water.

Later, I rewatch the football, as its not often you get to see your team beat the champions. But, in fact, we're also champions too, so champs beat champs?

Maybe.

Jools is yogaing again, so a late dinner. I feed the cats and in slow time, prepare dinner.

It is now getting dark just after seven now, needing the lights on in the house.

Autumn is here.

Jools comes back, so I finish off dinner; fish cakes, cous cous and the rest of the creamed spinach. Not bad for leftovers, really.

And that is it for the day, nothing exciting, just another Monday, and the start of the last such week working from home in seven weeks. It will be the middle of November by the time my travels, holidays and training courses will be over.

There is football, Villa v West Ham. I hear David Cameron is attending so he can buy a half and half scarf......
