The Porogues gallery

So, tonight, at end of business, Parliament is suspended for 5 weeks.

This is unprecedented in modern times.

Had this not happened, the it is more than likely that the majority of the planned recess for political party season would have been cancelled.

Make no mistake this is to stop scrutiny, and to stop Johnson being quizzed by MPs and the opposition about matters he has no grasp or understanding of.

This morning he was roasted by the Irish leader live on TV.

This is grim.

Meanwhile Number 10 (Cummings) has been throwing out ideas on how to get round the Benn law, all of which are usually dismissed with a single tweet.

A wise man once said that it the previous PM, May, had wanted to sabotage Brexit, her actions would be little different that what she actually did.

I think the same could be said of Johnson/Cummings.

For the recrod, I do not think there is a great plan behind this, I mean Andrea Leadsome and JRM are in the Cabinet for fucks sake.

Gove once said that "people had had enough of experts". This Brexit is what happens when the dregs of the Conservative Party take charge.

Yes, they're all Ministers, but they're all Jim Hacker.
