Or what?

The Times, the once newspaper of record, lead today with a headline:

"Judges warned to stay neutral"

This is a clear reference to the ongoing appeal at the Supreme Court, of course. But interestingly, the text below the headline fails to mention the above quote.

Either something is lawful or not.

Either something is within the scope of the law, or isn't.

So, if the advice of the PM and Privy Council is found to be within the scope of the law and that the advice given to the Monarch was unlawful, then a law has been broken and there will be repercussions.

Those could be:

The arrest of the PM, senior ministers and Members of the Privy Council.

Arrest of all Civil Servants and Special Advisers who knew of the law breaking.

Severe financial penalties for any losses by anyone as a result of the law breaking.

Resignations of all of the above.

Recall of Parliament.

Calling the Judiciary "enemies of the people", or demanding they keep of of an issue because it is "political" is a very fascist thing to do. The Judiciary and Free Press and Medi are columns of democracy, without wither democracy is in trouble. Both are under threat or not working, this is a very dangerous road.
