Getting worse

Inflation is at 4% and rising.

There is talk of interest rate rises from the Bank of England. This wouldusually mean the Pound should increase in value. Instead it is heading south.

It seems the markets have lost confidence in UK.

The PM's conference speech in which he stated, with a straight face, that the supply chaon chaos, fuel shortages, labour shortages across the board, far from showing Government polices not working, were, in fact, all part of the plan after all.

And so he indicted there would be no change in policy.

*Alarm bells*

Intel, the computer processer company announced that is ISN'T going to place its new European factory in the UK after all I mean these would be the high skilled, high paid jobs Johnson said "Global Britain" would be winning.

So, the Government has gone from there being no downside to Brexit to the pain is showing that the plan is working.

Just like the communists in Russia. It'll be tractor production figures next.

Will there be a point at which Ministers or the public just admit that, maybe, Brexit wasn't such a good idea after all? I mean all the short term fixes for labour shortages are related to Brexit related ending of freedom of movement, and yet, they say, Brexit is not the root cause.

So, what is?

Clearly, piss poor ladership.

We saw from the raping of the legal system under Camoron that dogmatic cuts would happen before any kind of analysis as to what the cuts would do. Dogma before people.

Brexit was supposed to deliver the double bonus of cheaper food and £350 million a week for the NHS. So far, food prices are going up, with only further rises to look forward to, and the Chancellor having to pay out again and again to patch up shortages caused by Brexit.

In the care industry, there are 100,000 vacancies, but more worryingly more people are leaving the industry than joining it. And the 37 HGV drivers who have applied to come over here and work for a few months, the Home Office have processed just 20 of th applications. So, no urgency there, then?

And yet the media, I'm talking to you BBC, get idiots like David Davies to pass judgement on the latest Brexit news.

I warned this would happen, he lied.

Thing is, no matter what happens in Brexit, it is seen as justification for leaving. If it goes well, then we were right to leave and be richer (unlikely), or if things go badly, then the EU is just being a bully so we were right to leave.

So, the circle is complete.

The most worrying thing is uncertain times create the perfect gound for even more extreme policies and personalities to the fore.

Farrage and co were funny in a uselss way, but who comes after.

There is far worse out there than Nigel and Trump.
