Further apart than ever

An RTE journalist has reported that Mr Barnier has given the EU27 leaders a downbeat review of the situation regarding negotiations with the UK.

THere has been a little movement elsewhere, but on fishing; none, and on a level playing field (LPF) which the UK signed up to the PD, there seems to be movement by the UK away.

Time is running out, and the final message is that UK doesn't understand how long the EU takes to ratify things. Next week is the absolute final chance.

Saying that, the Bank of England (BoE) today rubbed 1% of 2021's GDP forecast stating that the UK is not prepared for the change.

And news in The Yorkshire Byline Times that as part of the LPF, the UK Government is going to allow sub-cost dumping in the UK from China, India and other Far East countries, in fields like cycles, meaning domestic, high quality/low volume manufacturers will be hit hardest, as the promised made during the referendum about protecting our own industries is being broken like so many others.

Meanwhile, the UK is on 28 day's lockdown where pubs can't even do offsales any more.

Good job I have a supply of tripel and other beers here or being delivered over the weekend.

The madness continues.
