Isolation

In a Zoom call to senior Part doners, the PM stated that Brexit would be done and dusted by the end of the year and COVID would be on the run thanks to the vaccine, so things would soon return to normal.

If only.

Ironically, the fishing industry is voicing disquiet about the nupcoming export requirements to the EU, the very same fishing insudtry that Brexiteers claim to cherish so much they are willing to sacrifice the rest of the economy on?

In an interview, a Government Minister made a slip of the tongue and stated the stategic decision to leave the EU was made by one Dominic Cummings, and nothing to do with the so-called "will of the people".

And the PM, photographed meeting an MP last Thursday not wearing a mask and not socially distancing is now having to isolate for 14 days after the MP he met tested positve. It might be a ruse in order to avoid PMQs on Wednesday and next week, or he might can't find a fridge to hide in. But shows that, once again, the PM fails to follow the very rules and laws he imposes on the rest of the country.

Meanwhile the dead cat Cummings show contnues with claim and counter claim all being reported by the BBC, whilst the same organisation ignores the story of the PPE procurement scandal, despite being offered all the evidence free by the Good Law Project. Meanwhile another tranche of facemasks has failed tests so cannot be used, and will the GOvernment try to get the cost back from the supplier?

And talks between the EU and UK continue, in what should be the last chance to secure something to ratify before the end of the year. Already the ERG and Brexiteers are sounding warnings to Johnson not to sell them out. Guys, he sells everyone out in time, just wait your turn.
