The country and our leaders act as though there's nothing to worry about, but that was the total of new infections today. And being a Monday, reporting data is lagging from the weekend, and many have deleted the track and trace app, so the totals could be much much higher.

New immigration rules come into force, by SI, at 04:00 tomorrow, over ten later than Government scientists advised.

Time and time again, Johnson takes action too late. Omicron is already here and spreading freely, we will soon know how bitter that harvest will be. There is nothing we can do now. The WHO said back in February LAST YEAR to make decisions fast.

Time after Johnson has acted too late, to when he does act it has to be harder than would otherwise have been required.

Hospital ICUs are already full, some have stopped new admissions, and 90% of those in ICU being unvaccinated.

We have the Government we deserve: I mean, we voted for Johnson. I didn't, but the country did. And time and time again studies show the supression masks and distancing makes, and yet there are still fuckwits who deny this.

None of this was inevitable, it was policy choices by Johnson.
