As reality bites, the Conservatives lost North Shopshire by 6,000 votes yesterday, in a byelection that came about because Johnson didn't read the Patterson report and decide to protect his friend.
This was a swing towards the LibDems of 34%, showing both them and Labour that even when they don't work together, the voters are willing to vote tactically.
Leasson learned for everyone with this result.
