Another week, more confusion

Today, a motion is being put before the Commons to change the default from no deal to no Brexit.

That this makes sense is no guarantee it will pass, as most MPs are more concerned with voting for party and self interest first.

It is possible that the indicative votes will not produce a clear way forward, but it will rule out some alternatives.

meanwhile May is trying think of ways to bring back the MV. MV4 this time we really, really mean it. Or something.

The EU is probably very sick of the whole process and the UK in particular, and just want us gone.

But in a sly move, the UK Government is stripping out rights of citizenship laid down in the GFA, meaning those Irish citizens who do not register cannot get the benefits the agreement said they would.
