So, the withdrawal bill with amendments is before the Lords today, and many are unhappy with the speed in which it is passing through the various stages. Like there is no hurry, I mean we don't leave the EU for eight whole days. So why not have an extended dinner and get back to it in September?
In the Commons, proceedings today were made short by a water leak in the chamber that could not be stopped.
This does mean that MV4 probably won't have time to be presented to the Commons.
And even if the UK does manage to get the EU to agree for a further extension to A50, it is likely there isn't enough time to get the required domestic legislation through Parliament.
May is preparing to ask the EU for a further extension, and so preparing the bill to be presented which will make it possible.
The EU could say no. Any one of the EU27 could say no.
And mean that Brexit would happen next week.
It won't be a calm week, that's for sure.
