Tuesday Brexit

It is hard to think of the chaos this time last week, with Brexit just four days away. Marathon sessions in Parliament, votes, arguments, counter arguments, briefings to the media, counter briefings.

And then on Thursday an extension was agreed, and all of Westminster went on holiday.

May is on a walking tour in Wales.

There is some background stuff going on, but with schools off for Easter, Brexit is suspended, which means that the EU elections will take place, if not Brexit is just six weeks away again.

Many businesses are planning for a June 1st Brexit, as they do not trust the PM's word, which says so much about the state of UK politics right now.

It has emerged that the Conservative Party has allocated no funds for the EU elections, thinking they would not be happening, and local associations have none either, either for literature or for candidates.

Could be very interesting to say the least.
