Still no idea what's gorn on

The Cabinet has been meeting for eight hours today, and is now breaking up.

Let's hope they came up with some new ideas, because the old ones were frankly shit.

UK Government has a choice, try to push the WA through one more MV, but that would probably fail. Or revoke, but as there appears to be no appetite in Government or Parliament for that, then requesting an extension.

There is no other option.

And there has to be a good reason, an election of 2nd referendum. And even then that might be enough.

May seems intent on a no deal now, and unless Parliament get its act together, she probably could not be stopped, but there will not be enough domestic legislation in place, but the ports blocked by truck and food shortages within four days, that would be the least of our worries.

My country is broken and stupid. Here's a question: if trading on WTO terms is so good, why doesn't the UK already do it? I mean outside of the trade deals with EU negotiated, we could trade on over half the world on WTO terms. But don't.

Because it would be stupid.

A bill is being fast tracked through Parliament to instruct the Government to ask for A50 extension by the 10th April. The headbangers are angry about that, that someone would try to spoil their perfect no deal clusterfuck.

Anyway, more news as we get it.

While I know it doesn't impact me, so it's easy to say, but I hope Europe tells May to get stuffed. Hard exit. Let's see Boris talk his way out of the inevitable calamity.

Today's the day, and we will see what happens.

I think either no extension or a long one to the end of the year.
