Halloween horror show

At just after one last night, the leaders of the EU27 announced they had agreed an extension to October 31st with the UK.

That can be terminated at any point should Parliament ratify the WA.

The WA will not be reopened. But the Political Declaration (PD), which sets out in vague terms what the trading relationship between the UK and EU might be. So vague it almost allows for both close alignment to no alignment.

Anyway, three weeks after stating that she could not be PM that sees EU elections or an extension beyond 30 June, it seems that she might.

That extension is dependent on EU elections taking place in the UK, otherwise the UK leaves on June 1st.

Donald Tusk stated that UK must use the time available well.

Indeed.

As I explained to a colleague who voted for Brexit yesterday, there is just three choices: the WA, no deal or no Brexit. Now or in 6, 9 or 12 months time.

There are no easy answers or solutions, it calls for strong leadership and the judgement of Solomon. We have Theresa May.

My colleague is a clever man, used to be my boss, is well read and so on, but was unaware that the law breaking of Vote Leave and Leave.eu was so serious that other than in an advisory referendum, the result would have been annulled.

So, the nation is still poorly informed three years after the vote, with some people believing there is an easy and simple solution to this.

Isn't funny how on one-hand folks look for the easy answer, the easy way out.... and at the same time can see vast, complicated conspiracies.

It's not really our elected representatives who suck, it's the mindless masses voting for them.
