January trade figures were released today, and they are a little grim.
But how much was due to Brexit, COVID and/or stockpiling.
The question will be when figures for February and March are known, but for now:
EU exports: - 38%
EU imports: - 16%
Non-EU exports: -8%
Non-EU imports: -9%
Total exports: -25%
Total imports: - 20%
Goods trade: -16%
Services trade: -32%
Exports of goods fell £5.6 billion pounds, or a drop of 40.7% according to the ONS.
