Vaccine nationalism

The UK have vaccinated over 25 million UK citizens over the age of 50, and some in other high risk groups.

The Government secured supplies of two vaccines very early on in their development.

The UK has not supplied any other country with a single vaccine dose.

The EU worked together to secure large supplies of the vaccines, at a much lower price, and in the supply contract made a mistake in a clause.

There have been supply issues.

There have been some issues with clotting with the AZ vaccine, but much lower than was expected. Many EU contries suspended its uses until the EU medines agency cleared it again last night.

The EU has shipped 35,000,000 doses to third world countries.

Tell me now, which side is involved in vaccine nationalism?

Until the whole human race is vaccinated, there will be no end to the suffering. We have it in our grasp to do so, this year, but vaccine companies won't allow it. They like to make money over saving everyone's life.

We could help the world, we could at least help "Commonwealth" countries, but we chose not to do so.

This is all a choice.

Meanwhile, the PM's father, when asked how well his son has done on COVID, gave his son a B minus, stating that 125,000 topped Boris from getting an A plus. Good to know that all that human life was worth only two grade points.
