Wednesday 3rd March 2021

The more times goes on, the more every day seems the same.

We get up, have coffee, feed the cats. Do our morning routine.

Jools goes to work, I start work at eight, then battle the latest IT issues that have replaced the ones we thought fixed yesterday.

The sunshine of the weekend had been replaced by cloud, and a keen wind from the east, so very much cooler.

Not really weather for walking and snapping, though I know I should have gone, my enthusiasm got up and left.

The big event of the day was the top of the table clash between Norwich and Brentford, kicking off at half five. So not to miss much, Jools was collecting fish and chips from Castle Street on the way home, so I could watch the game.

The good news is that the kittens have settled down. Poppy's troubles seem to have been fixed, and she is less stressed and I can now stroke her when she is laying in the bedroom, something she only suffered from last weekend. Cleo is a delight, four legs and an upright tail of boundless energy and curiosity, just to see her bright eyes gladens the heart.

Mulder and Scully chase them less, there is growling, mainly from Poppy, just as a warning. Sometimes Mulder gets in a mood and chases the first other kitty he comes across, if its Cleo she outrun him, and reappears happly purring away

. Once the rush of breakfast for the cats is over, they sleep until half three or four, so I am left alone mostly.

Sixty two I venture out to check on the spawn and flowers, being cold, not much change from day to day, other than the Imperialis growing a cm a day or more. Soon the garden will be filled with their scent, and in three weeks they should be in flower.

Diversity I have leftover curry for lunch, warmed in the microwave. It would have been better with a beer. But work.

The day passes and excitement for the upcoming game builds.

If Norwich won, they would be ten points clear again, and this time no game in hand for the chasing pack. Brentford were the highest scorers, and we had the best defence, who would come out on top?

Norwich.

THe only goal came when Jools returned with dinner, and I was dishing up, I head the TV say it was a sensational goal, but it was the least we deserved. Brentford had one clear chance, and fluffed that, we had a good half dozen, but took one.

Ten points clear, 12 games to go, ten points will probably be enough.

Cruising.
