The campaigning is over, and as expected, it was dreadful.
Dreadful from the fact the sitting governing party lied all the time about just about everything.
Dreadful as the sitting Prime Minister hid from scrutiny by interviewers, journalists, other party leaders and the public, because it was shown that when he did submit, he was dreadful, had no common touch and lied. Or hid in a fridge.
Dreadful in the defining issue that everyone will use their vote for was hardly spoken about of further defined, Brexit still means Brexit and Brexit getting done, but nothing as to what it is or would mean. Meaning that the electorate can't make an informed choice.
Dreadful from the BBC. I know its an easy target but it has failed its viewers and licence-payers in the most disappointing way, and their chief political other, but no means the only one, apparently having a Conservative bias. And who yesterday apparently broke election law by talking about postal votes already counted.
Dreadful from Fleet Street, who almost to a man suckered up to Johnson, amplifying the lies and mis-information.
Dreadful from the mis-information put out by the Conservative Party, showing there is no depth they will not plunge to in order to keep power. Truth is now an alien concept to it.
Dreadful how the PM has treated the Union of the United Kingdom as something to be cast aside as it was easier to do that than deal with the contradictions in the lies of his and other Brexiteers.
Dreadful how political parties, journalists and the public are perfectly happy to deny the truth because the doesn't fit in with their narrative. A hospital so busy a sick child had to be treated on the floor? No, must have been faked. Even when the hospital confirmed the story and apologised, it was still called fake news.
We will get the Government and Parliament we deserve. Some of us will vote for the less bad leader to stop the very worse getting in. We deserve better, or maybe we don't.
