Of corruption and how it will never end

Zac Goldsmith ran a highly anti-Muslim campaign against the Labour candidate for the Mayor of London elections in 2016. Thankfully he lost, but continued as an MP until he was defeated in the recent elections.

Thus becoming the only senior Tory to lose his seat and so Cabinet position.

But Johnson gave him a peerage and the gravy train in the House of Lords, AND kept his seat in Cabinet too.

This is what was always going to happen, and will happen at the end of Brexit, no matter how bad it ends, those who where the guiding "minds" may lose their seats n the Commons, and live their lives in shame, but the Party will look after them, giving them a seat in The Lords, where they can claim £300 a day expenses for singing their name in the attendance register.

Many people around the world know their regimes are corrupt, because the corruption is obvious. Here in the UK and US, the biggest trick the elite pulled was convincing the population that corruption was normal, and that they should be trusted to drain the swamp.

Drain the swamp?

Heck, twenty years ago, a racist comment or a falsified expense claim would end a career. Not now. Even giving the Monarch unlawful advice carries no consequence.

It wasn't mentioned in the election. Johnson and JRM, who gave the unlawful advice, are still in power, and are now talking about changing the constitution to weaken the Supreme Courst so they rue and word cannot be challenged, and giving the Judiciary less latitude for interpretation.

Johnson has faced the Commons one day since winning the election, and now it is Christmas/New Year and he is on his holidays on an Caribbean island. When Parliament returns, the serious shit will happen.

He will run from scrutiny, from investigation, from debate. PMQs will become a thing of the past, there will be no press-conferences. Johnson will fillow Trump and rule by Tweet.

We will truly become the 51st State.
